    Dang I was told they had to be sent to a chem stripper before a Powdercoat place would even blast them?? How did the finish turn out? Any flaking?

    I was really impressed on the soft ride, and how quiet they were on the ride home. I'll probably stay with "C" or "XL" rated tires going forward. The true test will be in March when I do the NW Grand Canyon trip.

    Yup, I've always had single cab short beds, except for a 2003 Dodge quad cab with the kids dragging a toy hauler and a 99 Mustang Cobra.

    Edit; Dementia strikes again, I had a highly modified 2 door XJ for a year or two.

    Mine was a POS. I got Ford to buy it back and got a 2000 Lightning instead.

    I had posters and a ton of 1/18 scale SVT Cobra and Lightning cars/models. All were red.. was definitely instigated by my dad who was a huge Ford guy. He built up his brand new red 98 F150 to essentially be a 4x4 lightning. Supercharged, shift kit, the whole 9. Need to find pictures.

    It’s meant for a custom installation but, yes, it works for a 3rd gen. That is what I have.
