I don't get it why all the carpet, does anyone actually drive around with no shoes on? If it was an option I'd take a vinyl floor in all my vehicles. I'm not sure if they still do but in the early 2000's you could even get an upper trim laramie ram with the vinyl floor 2500/3500s. My work truck is a disaster the carpet smells like dirt and no amount of cleaning it gets rid of it.

I don’t mind a few hundred dollars. But port and dealer installed fluff has increased to 10k. That’s outrageous and that will take my business elsewhere.

Me neither, especially since Toyota is targeting the off-road market. Rubber floors just make more sense if you’re in the dirt often. Used to be able to get the rubber floor in the 2nd Gens, have the part number around here somewhere. It should fit in the 3rd Gen.

Our old work trucks we used to be able to hose them out, sure do miss those days. My 3rd Gen feel like I have to handle with kid gloves not to mess it up and I have the poverty trim. There will be a day when the newness wears off and I won’t give a shit anymore. Had some take out soup the other day, trying not to spill it by putting it in a box, but spilled it anyway, went all over the carpet and missed the mat lol! Fuuuuuck! Lol! Rubber floor you just wipe clean, carpet I have to scrub and vacuum it, it was a curry…doubtful I’ll get the smell out. *chuckle* *shrug*

It is a truck afterall, going to get used and abused.

A lot of people go to the dealer intent on buying a Pro and then end up buying a different grade (it gets people in the door). Also profit margins on the Max/Pro/TH will be high, why leave that money on the table?

Dunno, thought everyone was being quite civil with each other. Did go ever so slightly political, but almost impossible not to since the government is going to mandate EVs.

It’s a fine line here, unfortunately. I can’t believe the thread got locked. It didn’t seem bad to me.

Locked your Colorado thread too. Dunno, weird. Guess it depends on the mod’s mood that day or something. *shrug*

Was enjoying researching hybrids and EVs. The hydrogen powered Jeep was cool. Oh well…

Toyota might have jinxed itself by naming the hybrids iForceMax. Ford Maxtow axle got recalled for broken bolts, that Boeing Maxjet didn't have bolts to hold the faux door in place. iForceMax engines might be missing bolts too.

The mods seem overly sensitive on this forum. Discussion is what keeps this place alive. Why silence it?

I don’t know about missing bolts but it’s certainly missing higher mpgs.

Sometimes. Their house their rules. I am not a political person, but that stuff can spiral out of control real quick, so probably just nipping it in the bud.

Dunno, I am bored with this whole thing, and have been for awhile, (probably to some people’s rejoice lol!) not sure why I keep coming back, winter I guess…
