    Not my invention. Found this $25 metal powder coated device online, tried it and liked it. Just sharing my find with fellow TW members.

    The same guy also makes a cool washer for preventing the tailgate cable from being slipped off by anyone. Fits great and was easy to install.

    I bought a Lowes-bought wide fender washer and installed it over the cable-end. $1.50 I think. Unless the screw is replaced by something with a security-no-one-else-has-it headed-screw, it just slows people down as much as mine with the standard Torx head, my guess.

    But anything to expand 20 seconds to "something longer" helps.
