sounds like the added fuse is the wrong size and maybe unnecessary, if you're tapped into the headlights.
    Check wiring connections.

mine are tapped into the parking lights. They're on with manual headlight toggle. And off with it off. Inline fuse. No issues.

pictures would probably help, but the fact that you're blowing fuses indicates you've likely wired them incorrectly.

Best thing to do with Raptor lights is not install them. Looks like you got the Ford curse.:D

I have mine tapped into my daylight running lights, so they are always on!! I actually like mine, not because I want a Ford, or for it to look like a Ford, dumb assumption anyway, as always!!! It was all based on that I
"liked" them, and it's my truck!!! :)

Box up and return is likely your best option.

have you ever been driving the speed limit and a Hyundai yeets accross 3 lanes in front of you

    that happens less now.

they’re marker lights. Marker lights are not exclusive to Ford. They make the truck more visible for safety. That’s the point and why they legally had to put them in whatever way they could on a pickup.

Without them you can barely see the front of my truck.
I just fixed a headlight marker that wasn’t working. Without raptor lights the front would not have been visible.

you do what you want though

from what I understand, OP has already decided on putting raptor lights like others have and is trying to figure out how.

OP I don’t know what parts you have or what the wiring looks like. My aftermarket grill came with lights.

Without your raptor lights you can’t see the front of your truck?

lights make it visible. That’s the point.
    To see light.

otherwise no not really. Full hoops bumper. It’s not easy to see the headlight markers. They’re tiny, in the corner, and just two.
to the average fantastic driver not really looking, a quick glance of only 2 little lights says “oh that’s a little sedan I’ll yeet in front of”
and not, “that’s a truck, I should probably not do that”
Probably why the amount of that happening has gone down since adding them. With raptor lights, it’s obviously a truck.

the raptor lights you can. They’re not blocked by the hoops.
Have two headlight markers people will think it’s a Nissan.
It’s not. It’s a heavy truck with steel. It will win. I’d prefer to avoid that.

same as this guy. This truck will win. But they’d rather avoid that.

    IMG_1966.jpg

same reason law states lights must be turned on if weather conditions dictate turning wipers on.
If it’s 1PM and you can see
That law is about making your vehicle visible to other drivers in those weather conditions.

rather than blending in to the environment.

other ways to do it. A ram 2500 might have markers on the roof. Not gonna do that. For one, that’s where a rack goes.

other ways to do it if folks want. Backlit driving pods. Etc
Which costs way more. And would leave a grill blank. The grill has room. Might as well.

you are correct. Something with lights on is more visible than something that is not.
That’s why parking and city lights were invented.

    and DRLs
If you’ve got two little lights like an Altima
    people think it’s an Altima
But it’s not. It is heavy and has steel.

im sure DRLs and parking lights are stealthy

that’s why raptor lights are wired to parking lights. To turn them on and off manually.

Last I checked those grille marker lights are required on vehicles over a certain width hence the raptor and trx but not typical f150 or ram

Sure seems like I was in favor of the "Marker" lights!!!
If you lived in the Seattle region, a Prius cutting you off happens more nowadays, lol.....

last I checked a built Toyota is heavier and harder to stop than a raptor with grippier tires and brakes, and less crumple zone

I have no idea what the relevance to the discussion at hand that has? You go on a huge tangent on marker lights I just point out why these particular models have them? In some areas adding additional marker lights can be illegal? Just like non sae fogs, led light bulbs in non compliant housings.
We're talking about lights here not comparing a raptor vs tacomas braking performance.
