anyone slammin? who has some subs?

Just got my box from Supercrewsound.com look amazing!!! Any one want to try and guess what subs Im gonna be putting in this bad boy?? (Except you ItalynStylion)

I had one like this custom made with a JL W-1 and it can hiiiiiit.

 

Nothing serious. Just GREAT SQ with just enough bump and thump. 1 IDQ10V3 powered by JL 500/1 amp ID XS65 up front and ID CTX65 in the rear powered by JL 300/4. Custom sub enclosure, amp rack, and baffles by Mr.Marv. All tucked away inconspicuously.

 

I got a 13" Focal sub with Alpine 1000w amp

 

Which Focal sub? How is it mounted?

 

I have, I think, that exact box/amp rack on order from Marv. Do the amps hang over the edge at all by the door? I know its close, but it'd be sweet if I could put both my JL's side by side like that rather than vertical. Itchin to get the box so i can see how it all fits. I can't wait!

The amps don't hang over the edge at all. They fit perfectly. What kind of sub will you be using?

Same Sub, same 500/1 pushing it, only difference with out setups will be I'll be running a 300/2 and Hybrid Clarus 6.5's up front I think. Nothing in the rears, I'll just fade everything to the front. Should pound pretty good and sound even better. I can't wait. Just a money game now

ETA - I'm SUPER excited to see the amps fit like that. I was afraid I was going to have to sell both and pony up for a HD 900/5... Which would have been fine. But the 500/1 and 300/2 are gunna be SOOO much nicer.

ETA Again - How much sound deadener and ensolite did you end up using and where all did you apply it? I def wanna do the back wall and front doors while I have them apart but don't know how much I really need to order.

 

I deadened the front and rear doors. I was going to deaden the back wall but most of the rattle comes from that slider window and you really can't do anything about that. I ordered 1 box of deadener and 3 yds of ensolite and still had about 3 or 4 squares left since I didnt deaden the back wall. The doors are a MUST DO if you want to get the most out of those high end speakers. We just used the tap test when applying it and applying it heavily around the speaker housing.
