Hey guys. I got a problem w my 2018 tacoma. I want to start off by saying i have aftermarket morimoto headlights along with a harness that connects the drl to the grill raptor lights. Latley i noticed that the drivers side drl is flashing like its having an electrical problem. That is within the fist few seconds of turning on the drl switch. Now some of you may know this, the morimoto headlights have a type of "start up procedure" during that time the drl will flash as if there is a problem w the electrical. Kinda like a light bulb when its going out. I recently replaced the relay switch thinking that would fix it, it didnt. Any help on this helps. Thanks

The first thing I would try if you can is eliminating the grille lights. Depending on how those are connected, that could be the issue. If that doesn’t fix the issue and the wiring isn’t at fault, try hooking up a cheap light to the DRL circuit (the green wire coming from the truck for positive, and then the white/black for a ground) and see if it is getting a good solid signal. If the signal is good, and the wiring isn’t the issue, then that pretty much leaves the headlight itself as the issue
