Now that we're officially frozen in and my Tacoma is going to be sitting for a while I put it up on tire savers and put the sonic rodent repellers in the cab and under the hood. The one on the floor is always on, blasting across the concrete under the trucks. I also hooked up the battery tender and put my new wheel lift together.

Going to be pretty dull around here until spring.

    :bored:

My wife bought me a color accent. A little bit of a pain to put on, and I didn't do the greatest job, but I dig it. What looks like bubbles in the orange and red are some artifacts of the light or my phone's camera - they aren't there in person.

That's a cool idea. I've been caught once needing my spare, only to find it flat.

I think the weight reduction improves MPG more than any ridiculously crafted aerodynamic claims.

IMG_8797.jpg Took it to the ski resort. Despite a butt-ton of snow and temperatures hovering near freezing, only needed 4WD on the resort road to the parking lot. Having a few hundred kilograms of snow for ballast definitely helps.
