Bak Revolver X4S tonneau cover. Android Auto USB plug upgrade! H11 to H9. Sound deadened/insulated floors and rear wall. VLED license plate reverse light. Yokohama GO15s. Rokblokz mud flaps. "Custom" 3in Flowmaster Super 50 Series cat back. J&L catch can. AMP Powersteps
I'd agree. Seems most go for the Sport or OR.

I would venture to say that this was the rarest 3rd gen Pro color.

I hate red trucks so much.

Rams dark red/burgundy is the only I'd accept.

I've seen more Campbells Neon Tomato soup Pro's than any other color.

I'm still waiting for radiant red to return. I prefer bright reds (Porsche guards red) or blacks. Somehow settled on MGM though. :notsure:

Calvary blue comes to mind; I've only seen 1 or two in the wild. Looks like it belongs in a Saltwater Aquarium imo.

I think Barcelona was rare ish for all trims. I don't see many of them. I like it, but only when the sun hits it.

If 5,000 pros are made a year and manuals are 5% thats what makes it rare.

What were the production numbers though? Wish I knew if the 5% number previously posted is on overall tacomas, or just the trims that have the manual option.

In 2023 there were 234,768 total Tacos made and 3,287 were manual.

Not just many, but all of the solar octane were made the same way they make all the vehicles, i do not think there was a special process.

Hope i was able to answer how many solar octanes were made.

Interesting thanks for providing. Assuming the numbers might be closer to 3,500+ since it's reporting sold, not produced. Seems like there was a tailing off when the manuals moved from SA to Mexico. Because the stat released in 2019 was 5% and thats when production was at 400k plus trucks a year.

I'll have to find the article, but I read that they only made the manuals once a quarter in batches because they had to retool and rework the assembly process. Glad I snagged my MT Pro when I did.

    You're welcome!

Your assumption also holds for trucks produced in 2022, but sold in 2023. I would personally take the numbers at face value.
I can believe that sticks were produced in runs. There were also rumors floating over the summer that stick production ended in June. If that's true, then the sales numbers might actually be inflated by 2022 production.

Damn! The OP already got 11 posts out of asking random, unrelated questions, all while responding to himself! Must be looking to sell something? :D

Now, I'm starting to sound like everyone else on this forum

Why does it honestly matter if you think it's slightly on the rare side? If its a truck you like and can afford then just buy it and enjoy it.
