I cancelled the appointment at the dealer yesterday. I have not had a single issue, miss, stutter or anything with the truck since I changed the Throttle Position Sensor.

Truck is running great. If your having the same issue, napa has the TPS for $58.

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Good to know. Glad you were able to fix this without a stealership visit.

Awesome i did some research online and went and got one this morning for my truck. Napa quoted me 125 for the TPS, and Oriley Auto 85. I know have a little project after work to do and go for a road trip... Has your mileage improved at all?

Milage is still hitting about 15.7-16.2

I have 31x10.50 BFG Mud tires, 4:10 gears and I usually run 80-85 down the interstate. I figure if I stayed at 65 I would probably do better.

I did get 17mpg out of the last tank when the truck was cutting off about 50+ times on each direction to work and back. I think it was saving me some gas.

I am stumped that your napa would want $125 for the same TPS I got for $58 in napa.

Well just got my truck back from the dealership. i had replaced the TPS and fuel Filter and had to get the TPS adjusted. The Truck now just lurches once in a great while. instead of 100 times on the way to and back from work both ways. looking at maybe replaceing the fuel injectors. Anyone have any ideas. my truck was throughing the code P0510. so the TPS was bad but now trying to figure out what to do to completely get rid of it.

Here is the deal i am still having my truck Lurching. I have a 96 Tacoma with the 2.7L engine. Here is what i have Replaced. I am thinking of going in to the dealership to have it plugged in to see if the computer can tell what it is exactly doing. As much as i dont want to take it into them.

    1) Spark Plugs - i had champion plugs in the truck but witched them to OEM Plugs
    2) Fuel Filter
    3) Ignition Coil with distributer cap and roter with new wires
    4) TPS - Have had it in to get it adjusted 95.5 -97 apparently need to be adjusted after replaceing.
    5) Can of SeaFoam

What i am looking at replacing next:

    1) Fuel Pump
    2) O2 Sensor along with the Vacume hoses
    3) Finally replacing all 4 Fuel injectors

If none of those work i don't know what else to do. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
