I'm back at the drawing board today. I'm just going to redign the whole thing. The combo bidet/ bottle opener was proving difficult to integrate with the first design.

    So I'll start there :notsure:

That looks like a LIMA 2.3. I've got a blown one of those in an old ranger. I was thinking I would swap the motor but I can't find another running one under $1000 since they are ancient. Now I'm thinking 5.0 swap but those are also getting old. Anyone know of good auto salvage around STL? I'm a little west of there near Washington.

None of the auto salvage is good. It just.... Is.

More cost effective to find a car you want parts off of at the Target on Hampton and nab the parts while they're inside shopping

Are you set on a Ford motor? There seems to be more Chevy/ LS stuff in varying sizes available down here.

From what I can gather, most of the modern v style motors are fairly wide and the ranger is very narrow in the front frame rails. I just know the 302 will fit. If I was a little smarter I wouldn't mind throwing a honda 4 banger in. I am a little intimidated by the wiring

That would be great.....except I was looking for something cheap. It's a trash truck that I bought only to spend some time with my son. I thought he would like doing some suspension and body work to make it white trash fab. Bonus if it does one wheel burn out. I'm currently working on putting a new head gasket just to see if it will run. It's something to do and only costs $50 but the cylinder is scored pretty badly so I don't have a lot of hope. At least my son is having fun

The version I have now is a d-ring mountable hole in the hitch that also serves as a swivel point for the seat.

Don't need to shit but your buddy is stuck? No need to remove the shitter lid, it'll have a full strength pass through hole for a D-ring. You just need to lift the seat to have access to it.

So far the bottle opener/ bidet part is integrated into the seat/ armor part. Obviously a quick disconnect for the bidet water.

It's a lot of parts and I want the presentation to be right before I post any pictures of it :poking:
