A very rare thing around here lately.

 

I'm stopping in at a dealership tomorrow to get some seat time in a 3rd gen. Barebones OR. It'll be my first time in a tacoma built in the last decade so I'm excited. 4th gen interior looks better from the pics we've seen but I guess I'll have to wait till they're actually on lots before I can compare. Figured I'd start with the outgoing tacos before experiencing the incoming ones.

 

Just keep in mind that the seating position in the 4th gen is actually comfortable.

 

I do appreciate that the mods let us reach the milestone of 1000+ pages before clamping down on some of the off-topic shenanigans

 

Or they might of screwed it up. Looks more F150-ish seating position than Toyota. F-150s feel like I am sitting on a stool. My old Trooper was like that, my legs would go numb on long drives, never could get comfortable in that thing.

People complain in the Toyota their legs are straight out, and feel like they are sitting on the floor. Mine aren’t like that, have plenty of bend and find it quite comfortable, most comfortable truck I ever driven. Was watching a Truck King video where they were complaining about that very thing, and could see his were bent while he was complaining about they were straight. Must be psychosomatic from reading about it in the internet. Could see if they were super short, but those guys are anything but.

 

Gotta keep those posts count up for advertiser revenue…

If it was solely tech information, wouldn’t generate the same income. Need people bickering over nonsense.

 

I like the plan.

If someone’s handing me the keys to a loaded 2024 TRDOR for free, sure, I’ll swap out. The price is from outer space, but the truck is clearly a big step forward.

However… if you find a lightly used loaded ‘23 w LED’s and find the seating to be comfortable, then you’ll still love the truck and also feel like you robbed a bank compared to ‘24 buyers…
