Love my marv box. I ordered my 3rd box from him and just waiting to pick it up. I Live. Couple hours from him so just gotta make the time to go get it. I've also used his tweeter and door speaker adapters.

Like previous posts have said, he's old school and likes dealing over the phone.

 

How’s the 2 sd-4’s preform? How many watts you got on them?

 

Amp does 1300 at 2 ohm. They sound great, much better than my old rockford shallow woofers.
Theyre still no replacement for full size subs, but I am ok with that. I need the space for other shit. @Max2016

 

Yeah I’ve got one in a taco tunes box and has good sq but I’m really hoping the custom slot port enclosure Marv is building for a jl 10w3 will sound better!!

 

Mr Marv has made 3 total enclosures for me. Sealed to subwoofer cubic feet spec. Top notch quality but you will probably be waiting for a bit bc he is a one man gang these days. Great guy but he takes his time and does it right. You will be impressed with quality here is the first he made me to fit behind the Tacoma. JL Tw12v3

It’s not a good pic of it but he also built me a nice amp rack as well when I started my build. All fits behind rear seat nice and snug

 

Buy once cry once. Can't speak to lead time as I got the box for my 2010 single cab from another TW member but had it about 9-10 yrs and still love it.

Never chatted with him on the phone but via PM here long time ago and he hooked me up with some templates for my RF tweets as well. Top notch.

 

Yes he tunes the enclosure for subwoofer spec to deliver whatever it’s capable of to the owner/listener. Mr marv has always treated me well. Just be patient and you’ll be happy you did. I can’t lie it took a little over 3 months last time I ordered for my new sub but so worth it

Spoke with him over the last couple weeks. Awesome guy so far to deal with. Can't wait to get the box.

 

I waited years before being able to pick up. Marv still came through. Got a 2nd made for the Tundra. One of these days I need to wire up the amps.

I have two Marv boxes. I’ve been bugging him to do one for my ‘05 Tacoma RC too but he hasn’t gotten there yet. I should bug him again.

Hmmm, ok, thanks for responding. I'll give it some more time to get my order then, I ordered mid January.

 

I would call him and follow up. I used to try and DM him or text him but he informed me that calling is the nest way to contact him.
