Like 4WD or AWD. Better to have and not need, then need and not have.

it’s pretty heavy. I wouldn’t use it for camping.

Finally had a chance to use the track saw. Thing is sweet. Granted, I have nothing to compare it to. Used it to rip some 3/4" BC Plywood sheets into (2) 32"x32" and (2) 24"x32" pieces. A customer owns an indoor agility dog training facility and she asked me to make some simple stackable storage boxes. Need to make 8 total. Made 4 in this batch. No fancy joinery or anything. Just butt joints, glue & screws. To keep the weight down, she didn't want a back. Added some diagonal bracing on the back and top of the fronts to prevent racking. Sent her a pic and she's thrilled.

Oh I forgot to tell you all. Work bought me a new toy box. It’s good because I was eyeing this before the buy more save more event ends and it would have had me spending $250+ because I would have just thrown things in to get more savings. It’s very nice when the tool boxes all fit nicely together.

    That, is an odd turn.

I was referring to the 'weight' of the Milwaukee packouts; you said they're too heavy. Sure, if you put concrete blocks in them but it's been discussed before using them as candidates for camping supplies.

But yeah sure, here's several of us men camping together out in Moab (I had my packout with me too)

    20201017_081823.jpg

Otherwise it's been my wife and I with the dogs :burp:

Not at all. Wives can have trouble packing heavy things. Plano rolling boxes are much better for camping.

Coworker showed up at work the other day with a new craftsman rolling toolbox. I couldn’t help myself and laughed at him because the thing looked like a toy for my kiddos it was so small and cheap looking. He is going to return it and go with a different brand, I recommended he get literally anything else except for what he bought. The crappy tool box was still $70

I already have two of those narrow tool boxes and a packout vacuum. I have one half size slim organizer that I might convert to the bottom off my current hard sized tote. Still figuring the tote idea.

    Pass

I sometimes "look" for a reason to own a tool, and I couldn't find any reason to use or own that thing, even if it's really cheap
