Show truck or off road rebel...pick one....:)

I am not sure I would plastidip body parts and go mudding if I were to care about staining them. Rubber is porous and will stain. Especially with some muds.

The plastidip is cheap and easy to apply and take off so you can have both an off road rebel and a show truck. :D

Maybe clean it gently with a soapy microfiber cloth or something similar? I'm not sure what you can do that won't pull the plastidip off.

If they have stained into the rubber You are SOL. I am not sure the rubber is impervious to solvents. Anything that don't come off with pressure and soap is there until you peel and spray again. I plastidipped my skid plate to see if I liked it last week. If I liked it I was going to peel it and paint it. I don't see plastidipping as a permanent thing. Peels really easily. I use car washes now and then and really don't want to worry about the stuff peeling off.

Well it is cheap enough to redo. That's for sure. But the idea is not to worry about it. Enjoy the truck for whatever purposes and redo the areas that get messed up...

I rhino linered my bumper. Actually used an aerosol product called EZ-Liner. It -won't- peel like plasti dip so you have to mask everything properly or take it off the truck.

Its been thru the pressure washer already, 0 issues.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic.

Broke one of the plastic shoulders doing it. Whuups! Ended up linering that too.

You can scrub on the plasti-dip pretty good without it coming off as long as you aren't scrubbing the edges where it's easily peeled. My front was muddy and also had a ton of dead bugs stuck to it that weren't coming off. I soaked the front end with Bug & Tar remover and let it set for about 10 minutes. Then I washed the front with a soapy sponge and it looks better than when it was first put on.

Looks awesome! Was yours chrome before you sprayed it? If so, what kind of prep work did you do? Did you just scuff the surface or clean only? Would you recommend just spraying all of it now, bumper and plastic top?
    Thanks.
