Lol yeah I'm all good. Truck handled the weather like a dream.

Lots of flooding all around the county though...lots of drowning cars and bikes all over. plenty of accidents as well as you can imagine

Saw a post that it was something like a year's worth in 1 day.

My sister lives in SD. She decided to drive her new to her CLA35 AMG through a rather large puddle. Looking like a new engine and maybe more.

Yeah more than the county can handle at once with our infrastructure lol.

Several parts of different freeways were flooded, quite a few neighborhoods, particularly by the beach. I'm sure my buddy's shop was underwater, as it usually floods during these storms.

Yup lots of cars are breaking down because people either don't know, don't care, or don't have a choice and drive through it.

Seen some videos of cars washing away down some streets in a valley.

If only they had dorkels! That reminds me I still need to install mine but I don’t want to have a dorkel.

Yup. It's already cleared up today, sun is drying out the roads. Should be back on the bike tomorrow. Probably could have ridden it today but likely would have gotten blasted by a few stray puddles lol

Oh yeah. That was one of the first mods I did after buying the truck.

Beyond being filthy and missing the 2 side fairing pieces that doesn't look that bad. Curious what's actually wrong with it. Both of my current FJRs are Gen 3 currently and that's a Gen 2 bike. Looks like it could be fixed up fairly easily form the pics.

thats good and ya that would have been really annoying haha

i still need to do that with my 15 does anyone make a kit anymore or is it all diy now? i had the trail gear kit on my 13
ya it overall doesnt look bad so unsure what exactly happened to it. i have seen some people put vehicles they just want gone on coparts auction so could be that.

i found my buddy a 84 goldwing that he is interested on the site so he is gonna try for that while im trying for the little 400

yeah...yesterday on the freeway my truck got hit my a rogue puddle a big rig drove through. Covered my windshield long enough I said "Jesus take the wheel" and just held it straight. Can only imagine how that would go on a bike...don't plan to find out lol

RE: Diff Breather, yeah there's a few kits out there. Mine is the ARB kit, but it should be pretty easy to DIY if you wanted to save.

I rode in this morning and got blasted for a mile or so by a 2.5gen taco that had removed it's mud flaps. Just a straight jet of water coming at me. Ugh.

Lol yeah I'm always wary of that. I often wonder what it's like driving behind my truck in the rain, since i'm lifted, HC rear, MTs, and no mudflaps.

That sucks. Kind of like passing or being passed by a semi in a downpour, instant loss of visibility. Temps here going up but calling for rain almost every day. Hoping this weekend to get out on a bike.

Not trying to start a fight, I get the looks of no mud flaps, that they rub, break off, whatever. But I am firmly in the camp of not running mud flaps being an absolute dick and inconsiderate move haha

And for the record, it looked to me like that truck had never even touched gravel, let alone offroad
