I re-routed the intake. This is the thread I had bookmarked when I did the work. I haven't had any trouble and will someday add the liners back: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/cowl-induction-snorkel.525314/

I have seen this done before but I do have a Afe momentum cai with the cowl scoop installed. That’s the only reason I would like to keep the liners in

Fun reading this page… the last six months have been full of cutting and rubbing. Not possible on my truck to keep the tires off the cab mount without a relocation. I have given up on my fenders. Going with McNiel glass fenders. Interested in a LCA that centers but the last one I looked at were prohibitively expensive. If it goes off road it’s going to rub…. And I want to go up again. 35s are fantastic but I am sure 37s are better…

Eh, just stick with 35's. No real gain imo besides actually saying you have 37's. More wear and tear. Possibly another regear depending what you're currently running. A whole lot of cutting to properly cycle them. There's nothing I've done on 37's that I didn't do when on 35's.

True… but. 37 man! It will be years if at all but at some point the truck will get old enough for a sas. Then. Maybe even more…
