I replaced the whole latch assemblies a couple months ago and it made such an improvement in the door feel. I even went with cheapo Amazon knockoffs and they’ve been great, can’t say how long they’ll last though… not sure why you’re looking at replacement, if you’re just looking for the rod and everything else is perfect, but for me it was very worth it.

Don’t think you can buy the rod on its own anywhere. Best bet would be to pull it off at a pick n pull.
If you have any secondary issues with the door latch, ie door only opens when the handle is pulled at a certain angle or the key doesn’t work well, I would just replace the whole thing.

I would also take a close look at yours too, IIRC I think the rods are riveted on so be prepared for that and how you’d attach the new one

Those pieces don't just disappear. Try feeling around inside the door bottom to see if it fell off.

Also, on Amazon, search for "Dorman 931-493 Front Passenger Side Door Lock Actuator Motor for Select Toyota Models". I installed that more than 2 years ago, and it has performed very, very well. Dorman products, while pricier than many aftermarket, have always fit and lasted.
