Got out on some snowy trails today. Only snapped one photo since I was trying to enjoying the scenery.

Installed a new TRD air filter today. I know, I know…they’re reusable. The amount of time it would take to clean the old one makes it more cost effective for me to just buy a new one.

Plus who doesn’t like installing shiny new filters in your truck :D

    285/75r17.... 34.5" maxxis buckshot 2's

Had them for 3 or 4 years and they only have like 3 or 4 thousand miles on them... only put 964 miles on my truck from 11/16/22 to 12/30/23...

Noice. The Razr AT 811s and their MTs have both appealed to me a lot recently.

No joke! You gonna make the switch to 17s or keep the 16s?

Think im going skinnier next time. Mickey Thompson came out with a 255/85r17 size... so a 34.6 or so that is only 10 wide.

I have started buying tires about every 5 years and selling almost full tread tires for cheap due to age to someone that will get the tread used up in a year or two.

I’m gonna stick with the 16’s, especially now that there’s a 255 all terrain available. It’s heavier than I would like but still very tempting. I also might stick with 265’s. They’re just so functional.

That’s smart! I’m considering going skinny as well.

Once you go skinny, you'll realize they are worth every penny.... :rimshot:

When I got these the 285/75 was the skinniest 34/35 available. Before I went to that size I had run 255 for years and truly loved them. Especially their offroad and snow performance.

Yeah I’m super torn about the AT4Ws in 255/85/16 because they’re everything I want but they weigh the same as all the 285/75/16 options I would get.

I suppose the handling and MPGs would still be better because they are skinnier.

I just don’t know what type of MPGs to expect out of a 255 tire that weights 58 pounds compared to my 265’s.

    Bad boy!

    Joking.

Yeah, me too. I am trying to save up as quick as I can to get the tires I want.. I am deciding to get either KO2 or Falken. My brother has KO2 on his 4runner. Looks great.

I’m having the East Coast Gear Supply clamshell bushing installed today. Getting an alignment done at the same time because I’ve been off road quite a bit since my last one.

Hopefully it will get rid of some of the vibrations I’ve been feeling in the truck. I also don’t want to have any issues with the needle bearing failing while I’m far from home on one of my trips.

I’ll report back after putting some more miles on the truck and let you guys know if there’s any improvement. Not that there isn’t already enough info about the ECGS bushing out there lol
