mine is mounted as shown and I can reach through the circled hole to turn it on and off. Best way to get it to fit is by mounting the bumper and taking your grill off, once you do that you can set the winch in and adjust as needed. Then place the grill on again and it’ll bend the black plastic interior just slightly allowing the module to fit. (I can add more photos if needed)

Yeah I get you that was a big concern of mine it doesn't look as bad as I thought it would in person! Plus it'll line up when I do a trim on the flares/bedside when I go to 35's

Well. Started the install today. First test fitted the bumper and noticed something that may be a problem later on. With a previous bumper I was out in Utah and busted a AC line due to it being to close to the bumper. (Around $500 repair) Wasn’t trying to have it repeated. AC line was about 1/8-1/4” from the bumper. Didn’t want to risk it with the way the truck is used so I grinded down the section to give the line a little more room. Check your clearance Gents!

Also mounted the winch. I ended up mounting the winch first then installed wiring from winch to module after installing the bumper. Used the C4 relocation bracket. (Excuse the dirt). Wanted to make sure it would work before painting the relocation bracket. Now in the process of paint drying.

Just noticed my bumper is touching the AC lines after your post. Don't feel like taking the bumper out so I may just add a thick washer to push the bumper fwd like 1/8" and will call it done

Yea definitely address the issue. Won’t happen right away but will slowly eat through that line. Expensive repair

Definitely an expensive repair, wish I would've noticed it during the installation

I have the trd-off-road stock skid and if you want to use the stock one you have to drill two holes in the stock skid since they don’t line up
