Kioti still has 0% for 60 and 72months. Gotta get into the heavy machine industry and pay cash for everything!

This will be a fun project. Belongs to a good friend of mine. Trans went out.

I wonder if this leaking hydraulic filter had anything to do with it?

That filter looks like it took a good hit from something. Given tranys don't like to work without proper lubrication that could have significate impact on its performance. Did you check the dipstick to see if there is any fluid left in the T-case?

I know it's empty, his uncle drained it and looked in it. He just brought me some so I can crank it to raise the loader and drag it off the trailer. His uncle told him the shuttle was locked up inside the trans from lack of fluid. We'll see, I don't know anything about these but hopefully Youtube can help.

Yeah man those are a real strong tranny... Hard to believe he toasted it.

I'd fill it & try a new filter first.

Here is what I was talking about .. top pin is right off the shelf & bottom pin is after the mill.

I’m waiting on parts for my neighbors mower, she said let her know what I needed. Sent her links Friday, want to get it out of the shop.

Update on my driveway that needs a new culvert due to it rusting out. With these heavy rain storms the driveway is on the verge of washing out. I called up the county and they are going to replace it for me :woot:

I have been impressed so far! Called 2 weeks ago. Last week some guys came out and filled some holes on top of the driveway with asphalt, got worried that’s all they were going to do and was assured they are replacing the metal culvert with a plastic pipe. Crew showed up today to survey it. Talked to them on the phone and they sounded like some stand up guys that actually care and want to take care of me. They called in utilities to mark out locations. Gas guy marked out the line before I got home from work. Hard to tell from the picture but my driveway is built up about 5ft

I was really stressing out, I knew it was going to need to be replaced soon but the last major rainstorm wrecked havoc on it. They said they are even going to make it wider for me. Once they fix it I am going to fix the rest of the driveway with gravel. It’s turning into a red clay mess

My neighbor and I had to do that a little over 5 years ago. It was quite the project, but doing all the labor ourselves we save a ton of money. We we able to upgrade from two 36" pipes, that would washout in every heavy rain to two 60" pipes, that haven't been over 75% capacity in the hardest rain storm, at the joint crossing and in turn used one of those 36" pipes to switch out the 16" pipe on my side of the split. It was about $10K for the concrete pipes. So I'd call that a win.

Dang that’s a big project! I am interested to see how mine will turn out. We are at the bottom of a huge hill and get a lot of water. I am honestly surprised at how long the existing driveway has lasted.
