Why does the ultra gauge screen interface look like an 80s video game load screen

 

I have one and definitely believe it is worth it. I empty around 3k or so and it always has oil in it. After I first installed (probably around 40k on the truck) I was putting it into an old water bottle just to see and it ended up filling it (so around 20oz?)and I'm not at 100k on the truck yet. Now I just empty it into my oil drain bin but am still very happy I installed one

 

My front seat jackers came in and I got em installed. Sorry for the messy pic but it is winter here and I daily drive my truck so it does get dirty from time to time. I mounted my weboost signal booster to the passenger molle panel to keep it off the floor and out of the way and I checked clearance of everything and it's good to go. Now just to get a good long trip on these to see how I like it. So far from short drives and just testing I like sitting up a bit more so that's a plus.

Fortunately my son and I are still very close, he lives about 6 hours away, so don't see him as much as I'd like, but I'm also very proud of him! Thank you for your service! Why are they bad for the powered drivers seat, I haven't installed mine yet on that side so i was wondering before i go through the trouble. I'm 6'3" tall Long legs

 

They are not bad for power seats technically. But the cab is already a bit cramped to crawl into (and I am only 5'10"). Some people are overjoyed with the jackers. Other hate them as soon as they sit down. I have read enough to know that a $100 risk for something that I know is iffy anyway (seat comfort) does not rate when I do not have any specific complaints now.

 

Not sure of the reasoning... BUT... That was definitely the biggest selling point!

 

I have the seat jackers on the power seat and like them. Even with the seat height adjustment I couldn't quite get enough lift to fully support my legs. I'm 5'11" and have 33" legs. Of course with more seat lift it does reduce the space between your legs and the steering wheel. I didn't sense a difference w/ headroom since the jackers are at the front of the seat.
Like others say, it probably depends on your body dimensions and what you want.

Anyone using something else besides switch pros and aux beams? Looking for a simple controller type system

 

Perhaps it's a bit late to respond, but here is my answer. I didn't try the Magnuson tune after installation; instead, I went for an OTT tune with a local tuner right away. The car is running great at 70 mph, and the engine RPM stays at 2000-2500 RPM without hunting for gears at all. There's a lot more power than stock, making it much more enjoyable to drive. I've covered almost 1000 miles since installation, and fuel mileage has been consistently around 13 to 15 MPG. The installation process was somewhat easy, thanks to Magnuson's instructions, which provided all the information you need to know.
