It was partially serious, mostly joke. I have a plug in one for when I have mains, but I wouldn't waste space on a longer boondock trip on that. You'd use your solar for the day just to charge your power for the night. The cost benefit isn't there.

I AM considering a vest version, they attach to any USB power bank, just plug it in and go, but not for camping (well, I would bring it camping if I camped in the winter).

My difference is dependent on the setup. Hammock needs an underquilt if it's super cold, since compressed insulation doesn't do as much underneath you. But that's also why I am looking at two separate sleeping bags. I love my wife, sharing a sleeping bag with her (and the dog) would not be a pleasant experience.

Got a bedliner sprayed today - local place does Bullet Liners. They did a nice job. It's a little thicker than the factory liner on my last truck and has better coverage. The factory one I had stopped just before the edge of the bed floor and paint got damaged easily there. They went over the edge with this one which will prevent that.

Love days like this… just go up there and spray the top of the wall.

What is that space used for? Also I’m a big nope on being that high on a ladder.

It’s not used, it’s void space behind a parking garage.

Get to do it again tomorrow to apply an intumescent coating.

Yes. 2 people to move it though. Big ladder to get out of hand on a jobsite.

When I need to have one on my van/service truck, 28'. Never seen a 30, didn't know it was an option. Thought 32 was next size up.
But, 28 is typical for us in my experience. 24 in South Texas.

Neighbor across the road has a 40' WOOD ladder. The weight is absolutely ridiculously heavy. Used it once (and only once) when I was painting our house. As steady as a fire truck tower ladder but talk about unwieldy...
