I know some of y'all have recently replaced your suspension out. My rear shocks are completely blown out so lu kill the Firestone ride rite airbags with daystar cradles are compensating for the shocks but I need to replace the rear 5100's as well as the front 5100's sooner than later. I might as well look into replacing my leafsprings too. I tow and haul daily so it needs to be good for that, I don't take my truck offroading anymore. Not looking to go any higher than 2" lift 2.5" max.

    Current setup:

Front: OME 887's on Bilstein 5100's set at zero (both are getting worn out)

Rear: 2021 factory Tacoma leafsprings with a Torch Offroad add a leaf, cut down 2nd leafspring from another 2015 factory pack and factory overload spring (sagging and worn out).

Firestone ride rite airbags with daystar cradles

Bilstein 5100's (completely blown out and covered in oil).

The front and rear 5100's have 8 years and 82k hard worked towing and hauling miles on them. Truck is a 2013 Tacoma BAJA dcsb with early 2nd gen tacoma Demello front steel bumper, Hooke Offroad rear steel bumper (added weight) toolbox full of tools, straps and gear. Bins and toolboxes on half of rear seat (added weight).

Who has the deals going on for suspension kits and or parts?

That would be awesome. I'll see if we can get a tacomaworld express run together somehow. I think I remember someone saying they were coming out this way soon.

I'm off of work Saturday so I'll swing by my storage unit and try to locate them.

Well call me the dryer expert :fingerscrossed:
Yesterday changed out the heating element then tonight changed out the tension pulley that was squeaking. So far so good. Hope I don't have to change out the drum rollers , thinking have to take the whole thing apart!

When my 10 year old basic set from sears went out I went with speed queen. A little more up front but should make up for it in the long run

This is a Samsung, only 7 yrs old. Had an open heating element and the tension plastic pulley was eaten through ! Think a dryer should last longer.

Negative, I saw the forecast for freezing rain on Tuesday (which I got here) so I didn't start the project over the weekend. Might do it this weekend but I'm feeling lazy.

I have my 3rd gen TRD Off-Road suspension still. You are welcome to have any amount of it, or all of it, for nothing.

Good morning PA. Wife went to work early too. Her alarm went off at 4:30. I had my work cut out for me this morning. My grandson is leaving from school this afternoon to attend a wrestling torunament. I hope his bus is back by 11:30 tonight. I'll be dozong on the recliner waiting for him. I had to pack him a lunch, a snack, a dinner (for after weigh ins) and a few Gatorades. I was searching high and low for those cold packs to place with his sandwich and drinks. That's when I know I miss my wife.

Good morning and happy Friday to all. Light rain and 51 degrees this morning but forecast calling for 60's this afternoon. First time on the bike in over 3 weeks but I rode in this morning. I can always wash it later to get the crud off but i needed a ride. Was starting to have withdraw symptoms.
