I have a few because I literally watch nothing on the networks, other than the local news. It is costly but a retired guy has to entertain himself somehow.

Good morning. Happy Friday. Very warm here. It's supposed to get back to normal temops over the next few days. The warm weather is good for today and tomorrow though because we have to drive about an hour to watch my grandson wrestle in a tournament tomorrow.

31 degrees with rain/snow. Icy roads. I definitely am starting to get the winter blues. No motivation and irritable over small things. What do you guy/gals do to get through the dark winter months?

I walk every day, unless it's storming. It's a good way to start the day.

Drugs and Alcohol, not really. I try and keep a sense of humor, stay busy. Fall leaves and winter snow chews up a lot of time.:D

Everything has been iced up for past few days. Not really a good day to be out and about on the roads to hit the Gym. I am in NY and last few weeks we have been hit hard and we even had a travel ban.

I have a bad knee. Drugs and alcohol it is. No, I live right next to some trails. I will get out after it stops pouring.

I do have an exercise bike, which I try to ride every day. It's not the most high tech but I don't want to spend a lot of $ for an elliptical, not to mention they take up too much space.

Good foggy morning. Used to fog in the land of 10,000 lakes but not in January. 33° right now the oldest dog is blowing his coat. In January. Guess he doesn't know he has a ways to go yet, not that he has any control over it. Time to break out the vacuum.

Make plans on what I am going to build and work on in the Spring. Reload shotgun shells. And shoot at a heated 5 stand in Wi. on Saturdays. That is tomorrow! 3 hour round trip but get to see some friends and make some more empties.

I feel your pain. 40 years of construction work and I have degenerative disc disease. I get spinal injections when it's intolerable.

I hope you feel better soon. My wife took that Gabapentin when she had shingles and it made her absolutely loopy mentally.

Happy light. Just a lamp that is supposed to trick your brain into thinking it’s real sunlight. I have one at my desk for the days that I can’t get outside at all.
And I take advantage of any good clear weather we have to get out for a little adventure. Thinking about a long drive today but even a walk through the neighborhood or a park can do wonders.
Trick is even if you don’t want to do it just get outside and do something. Chances are you won’t regret it. Just gotta force yourself to do it until you start to look forward to it.
And when the weather is bad and you can’t go anywhere you need hobbies to occupy your brain.

A few months back, I believe in this Forum, I shared pics from our family's 1978 summer spent in and around Anchorage, with a week at my dad's friend's cabin on the Kenai. We went fished every day, and we saw lots of King's. They were so damn big, I thought they looked more like a sea serpent out of a cartoon, or some of the renderings of the Loch Ness Monster. We didn't catch anything anywhere near that large, but they were amazing to see swimming along.
