Get yourself an Omega. I have both and would recommend to go with the Omega over the standard p01

 

Would that be because of the trigger?
Also, the Omega has been discontinued so I'm not sure how available it would be.

 

I thought perhaps the ammo industry sent you tickets in appreciation for all you do for them

 

Small haul at Cabelas. I may have caused a scene there too (it was warranted IMO). So this guy is handling multiple 1911's at the gun counter and in the process is flagging everyone in that area, including myself multiple times. There was a young employee helping him and he didn't say a thing. Finally, after my 4th time, I calmly walked over and took the gun from his hand and handed it to the gun department manager (who had just appeared). I said something on the lines of "this gentleman and your employee need to learn the fundamentals of safe firearm handling...he's flagging everyone". The customer was pissed and then said "it has a trigger lock". I grabbed my ammo from the counter and then went and chatted with the manager in private and explained exactly what happened. He thanked me and said he'd reinforce things with that employee.

Idiots!!

The trigger is much better on the omega. my experience was that I started with the P-01 and it was good for a while then I upgraded to some better night sights and accuracy increased noticeably. When I got the omega it already came with good sights and a better trigger. Also the hammer system is bulked up. over all I wish I would of just bought the omega from the start.

 

I learnt everythin' I know 'bout guns from movies and tv...

There has been no 9mm 45 ACP 38 or 357 to be found at all the Bass Pro/ Cabelas locations I have been to.
