Take a tape measure from edge to edge on the tire at the front and at the rear. set the front about 1/4 inch smaller in the front. that will get the toe close and can drive it to the shop with minimal if any issues. Yes the alignment will still be off, but the big thing that will fight you when driving to the alignment shop will be toe. camber not a big issue, maybe some tracking of the groves in the road. caster will make the steering feel hard or not want to return to center.
The toe being far off will feel like you're plowing the asphalt off the ground.

edit:think clock when looking at the side of the tire. you want to measure at the 9 and 3 o'clock positions

Looks like my latest alignment from Firestone. NEVER AGAIN! They lied on several points, charge a ridiculous amount, take weeks to get a reply after starting a Case. Did get a refund from the last attempt. Regional manager said I can take them to small claims court if I want any more. Pretty much wrecked my front tires and sent me home with a crooked steering wheel, pulls hard to the left and rubs when turning. Said they could not hit the numbers I provided because one of the cam bolts was stuck. I put a wrench on every nut and bolt myself, everything moved. The greaseable MOOG camber bolts are doing their job. Also found they moved one of the camber bolts so much they had the washer on top of the cam tab!
I even provide a laminated copy of the SPC UCA instructions and ask to talk to the tech to be sure they understand how these work.
Starting to consider doing driveway alignments.

Yeah I think I fucked up my transgo kit, so I'm going to rip it off and double check everything.

No reverse is a problem lol... :anonymous: Oh well finish line!!

I got gearcruncher working overtime helping me navigate going over what could be causing it, so with a little patience over the weekend and a lot of ATF fluid, I'm hopeful.

Supposedly this is the "upgraded" 5 rib lower idler pulley. I needed a replacement since mine was out of round somehow..

For you automatic guys, I'm trying to lineup the shifter in the cab to the linkage on the actual trans. When your truck is in park is it all the way towards the front or rear of the truck? Refrencng the actual shift linkage on the driver's side of the transmission
