By the way, has anybody else noticed the phrase "cognitive acuity" bandied about lately? The last time I had a "wellness" exam (last decade, sometime), I was given a "cognitive ability" test. An old farm kid really got PO'd when a young'un giving the tested handed him a picture and asked him to explain what it showed. "Son, I did that for years, and never wanted to see another plow and horse team again!"
Speakin' of pop quizzes... I was given the option since today is a Flex Day (no students) so teachers can get their semester grades in, so I'm not working tonight! Sleeping early... and starting to nod off this afternoon. (On Mike's Eastern Time?)
