If you take a magnifying glass and turn it backwards and shoot the gun through it you hit everything every time

We used a laser pointer on the light gun for duck hunt. Taped a BB over the button on the laser, then taped the thing to the top of the gun. Back when laser pointers were the coolest new thing.

But lasers don't show up on old tube TV screens... and I'm not exactly sure why I know that...

He had a lil like 13 inch tv with the built in VHS, something like this. I definitely remember it working, we only did it the one day cause we completely killed the little batteries that came in the pointer.

I’m even a little older than that. I played Atari on a little black and white TV that had antennas.

ah my Atari 2600, was given to me by an uncle when i was a bit older he was a garbage collector, and saw a old suitcase in the trash, so he threw the can in the back of the truck, and heard things in the case opened it up and there were a few games and controllers. but that was later. wonder whatever happened to that. my son has been playing some of the older Nintendo and genesis games on our Nintendo switch and it has been fun seeing him enjoy games i played as a kid as well

My parents had the little black and white TV on a cedar chest in their bedroom, with the Atari hooked up next to it! Even after they built on the house and put in another living room, including a 19 inch color tv, we still had the Atari hooked to the black and white TV right next to it. A couple of the games had a warning or something on them that said "not to be played on a color TV" or something like that, so they kept the old Black and White.

I was using a cabinet TV all of the way up to N64 Goldeneye.... I remember the first time staring at RGB's, wondering how I connect those to the RCA's/coax port on the TV.

By the time I had an N64 I owned one of those 300# 35” Sony Tritons. I sold the Triton when I moved so I didn’t ever have to move it again.
