    although

one time I was passenger in a pretty bad rear ending wreck where an old man mistook his gas pedal for his brakes.

I was fine but his insurance asked me how much I wanted to sign an agreement saying I wouldn't claim any injuries later down the line. I asked what was standard and they said $500, so I said shit...I'll take $500 just to sign my name.

My dad (who worked his entire career as a Farmers exec) told me I should have asked for thousands because they would have agreed...20 year old broke me was like, FML

It was something we were told over and over and over again, I mean truly instilled in us prior to, during, and after getting back from each tour to Iraq

The people we dealt with, many needed our help, some didn't care about what we were doing, and others were motivated to get rid of us by any means

Issue being that, it's like being a cop in the southside of Chicago and everyone mostly blends in

No one trusts you being a cop, and there's so much shit going on but they rather handle it themselves by any means, instead of religious beliefs separating one another, it's a corner or a block claimed by one color or gang

So as much as they need help, many of those groups would rather pull a gun on you just as quickly as they'll pull one on each other

Nice, I thought I remembered you saying these trucks weren’t any easier to SAS than a Tacoma though?

The work is pretty much all the same for a down and dirty leaf spring sas. If you want it to sit at not stupid heights both need a front frame reshaping haha. The only tough part I think is finding a good front axle with a drivers side diff for a taco swap. And with the taco you need to fit up a steering shaft and steering box.

Got someone picking up a welded dino kit tomorrow; since I'll be in the garage I wonder what I should cut tomorrow on that left over 18 gauge

    Suggestions?

I never invested in any fine cut consumables since it requires a new shield cup, retaining cup, swirl ring, as well as tip and electrode :bananadead:

    @Speedytech7

Got a small image/design for said business card idea?

Doesn't have to be a 'real' business card, just need to get on it and finally use my easyscribe so I'm going to mess with my CAD/CAM today before tomorrow

I don't know what you'd want to make a cutpatch with... SVG or like a .indd?

    SVG

Something small, but not too intricate just to play with

I like the business card idea and really, would be the perfect candidate for cold rolled steel if I used my scribe tool

If I polished up some of my stainless, it would only look so much cooler but I'd rather practice on mild steel first

Something like this work? I can edit the info on it but I want to see how messed up it looks for you in your software first.
