Haven’t been tattooed since Nov 2022…
Why not start with the elbow? solid plan of action. Followed by inner bicept.

Both elbows are tattooed at this point. This one just needs color, which I think will be next session. Outline wasn’t terrible, but there was a few spots, which I think has to do with a very young Tinytech playing bmx and having a dermal implant before dermal were a thing  Pretty sure there’s still glass in my elbow. :anonymous:

Both of mine are solid, super solid, color. But I'll be covering one shortly. Do it twice so you can do it nice!

Compared to forearm, what's the pain level in general for the inner bicep?

Umm, please share more about "playing BMX".

Forearm - no issues, inner biceps, the closer to the pit the more uh.. “well that smarts”. I also swell like a mf-er, but a single Benadryl usually stops it during the session and then one when I get home with an ice pack the first day or so.

I had a “trick bike” my dad got me, my neighbor build me a “ramp”. Wanted to be one of those kool dudes, well, one summer day, early 90’s I was riding home down my road which, at that time was being used as a route back to the local rock field/dump truck filling/ construction site so they had covered the road in glass.
I don’t remember what happened but the guys putting up the fence saw it, according to them, I hit the ramp, got in 2 or 3 flips(idk if the bike went with me or not), and wrecked. I got up, right elbow was shredded from mid for arm to just above my elbow. My dad just sighed and rinsed me off with the garden hose, got the gravel and smaller bits of glass. But I swear there’s still something in there. If I’m leaning on it, and shift, it “rolls” across and I get a nasty sharp pain.
You can kinda see the scar in this picture, as I’ve gotten older it’s gotten significantly smaller.

Was thinking about inside bicep but IDK..I want to get MEAN MAN somewhere but I want it visible often.

Ahhh, I grew up riding..still doing it but not like I used to, crashing hurts more plus it's more expensive to find vintage items.

I did my knee up much like your elbow injury, still have a piece of the scar there and the memories of spending hours in the ER.

My entire arm from wrist to top of shoulder was done. And into the armpit. More than the traditional Japanese, because I had a coverup. Elbow and armpit was worse than the “ditch”.

If it’s a simple tattoo I suspect you’d be fine. If it’s more in depth, detailed, tons of fill that’s when that area sucks.

when I was a kid I wanted nothing more to bike and be on X games. But, I didn’t have any skills at skateboarding, I could roller blade and bike. But no one to show me the tricks and fancy stuff. We also didn’t have a tv or interwebs till I was older so I was going off articles in magazines my brother got. By the time we got TV and internet I was already into the world of competitive shooting.

It would be just the words, not sure of font but want something all capitals. Thought about the knuckles but decided not to.

I grew up in the 80s and lived on my bikes, still ride though I don't do ramps anymore. Crashing at 50 would suck a lot more than at 12.

I remember learning tricks out of magazines in my day, haha. We had TV but no cable until about the mid 1990s.

I was okay at skateboarding but my neighborhood was very hilly, not conducive on an uphill when your friends all have their bikes.

I had “one love” tattooed on the inside of my arm near the pit. That didn’t suck. The sleeve cover up did!

Feet are finally finished. Just going to extend the stars and dots down to connect them to my legs.

    Start my stomach on Friday.

Started to get to the cover up last night, 3 hours later, and I’m pretty sure the outline is complete from pit to wrist. We left the shoulder and pit untouched so the back can get connected later.

I’ll get some better pictures tomorrow, today was sucky and I’m currently off my feet with an ice pack around the ankle. Stood up after issuing a long ass test and there was a “snap” in my ankle. Thankfully it’s not swollen or bruised… but the pain in my ankle is worse the fresh tattoo.
