Why is the taco engine so weak?

    My 2013 4 liter Tacoma is very powerful. I pull a 26 foot holiday trailer at 110 kilometer an hour comfortably. A 4X4 tacoma is not a race car folks. It is a power house with extremely good bottom end torque. And, reliability is outstanding. Time in a shop getting stupid repairs is non existent with any Toyota vehicles I have ever owned. I have driven over 1.7 million kilometers since 1990 in Toyotas with virtually no major issues, ever!!

    Put this engine in my old 1958 Austin Healy I'd be out at the Bonneville Salt Flats right now.
    I wonder how it would have gone in my 1976 FJ40. Small block Chevy swaps were popular, a bit too much.
    Since we're not drinking and sitting around the campfire, that's all I have to say.
