Morning stockers coffee time

 

On todays list of shit I didn't expect to break, my driver side windshield wiper. Had a bit of ice on the windshield this morning, so I picked up the wipers and made sure they weren't frozen. Thawed out my windshield, put them down, and only one of them is waving at me.

 

It probably skipped.
5 min repair.
But, it has to be done right

 

So, found out why the plumber didn't show up or communicate. His wife got into an accident. He was very apologetic about the lack of communication. His said she is ok, but sore. Rescheduled for the 31st.

 

A little icy yesterday.

 

Called the dealership to see if it was covered under my extended warranty. "Oh yeah, it is, but that's designed so the nut holding the arm down breaks free if there's too much weight. Bring it in." Just swung over there since it's 15 minutes from my house, sure enough they just wound the nut back down after lining the wiper up and it works for now.

 

Did you do any donuts?

You can imagine my surprised face. Better they touched it than I did, that way they don't blame it on me.
