Raise of hands, how many of you made sure to re-torque the bolts before noticing that things felt loose?:D

Anyone know if there is a way to check for ball join play with wheels on the ground? I’ve got 20k miles on my SPCs and grease em every 5. but I’ve always had a slight clunk at slow speeds while turning, into my driveway for example

Is it really a clunk sound? The sway bar, lower shock bolt and camber/toe bolt will make a sound that sounds like a clunk from inside the cab, but its more like a sudden creak when you come up a driveway at an angle as they flex. moreso if you live in a place with salt and moisture. You can put a little moly on the shock bolt sleeve to alleviate that. Even in california mine sounded like the front door of the munsters house turning slowly onto a driveway.

No creak. Def a clunk. Been doing it for a while. Maybe the sway bars not tight?
