Signal Peak does look pretty sweet i say we stick with the plan and hit it Saturday and maybe the modded trucks can hit slick rock Sunday morning on the way out.

Ya , N39 33.934 W120 03.901, that is the actual camp ground. There is also about 4 others within a 1 mile radius that you can stay at as well and they are free too. Crystal Peak Campground is popular cause of the crystal rules.

From the campsite on regular roads it is. Did you see seths link to the trails?

From His trail head marker you would actually fireroads from verdi all the way behind stampede and prosser poping you out above 89 across from sagehen hills hp. Then you drive the last bit either downtown truckee or take the free way.
