Got these installed. I really don't mind the chrome but the quarter mouldings needed replacing. Lost one of the nuts for the quarter window behind the seatbelt reel hence the teardown. Some clips may have been broken in the aggravation.

Out in the desert last weekend I managed to run out of talent and hit a dirt berm around 50mph. On the other side of the berm were some 2’ deep water runoff channels not big enough to swallow a wheel but enough to hypothetically destroy some cam tabs & a tie rod. Hypothetically

The drive back to camp. This was driving straight.

1 of these wheels is not like the other

    IMG_9176.jpg

Did some finessing of the cam tabs back at camp with a BFH. Did the same to the tie rod and took up all the threads it had to spare. Got her good enough to cruise 200 miles home at 55mph. Tramlining & bump steering enough to be a white knuckle drive.

Got home & ordered the KP Off-road octagonal cam bolts & tab gussets. Next is to order a new splash guard, all the clips, & try to straighten the fender enough to line up.

What store did you find these in? I've been looking for a land cruiser and a tacoma. I'm not paying the ridiculous internet prices for them though.

Pardon a stupid question, but does anyone know if the bottom seat cushions are able to be switched from driver to passenger and vice versa? My driver side bolster is starting to wear pretty good and I'd like to swap with the passenger if possible.

Sorry I don't know but look online and see if they're the same part numbers.
