    How does the OEM ECU know how fast the truck is going? What is the source data it uses? Is it the signal from the speedo sending unit in the tail of the trans/tcase?

    Is it fair to say that on setups using the Haltech ECU as a standalone, there is no speed limitation?

    Main speedometer feed that comes from the tcase sensor. Or the rearmost sensor on a 2wd. There's no speed limiting with a haltech setup unless you configure one.

    I ve no issues and running it for a year but the text should be a little larger I agree. It’s nice having all the different options from duty cycle to engine temperature all at a glance with 1 or 4 icons per page and 20 pages available and being able to program warning limits on each icon. If my temperature goes over 200 degrees it lets me know same with AFR if it goes over 16 AFR it warns me

    Agreed. Would just be nice if I could connect when I want. Or better yet just have a couple more buttons so I can cycle and select the info I want to see without a phone.

    Seems like too much info in too small a space. I like the idea just not the delivery. Looking forward to how the IC7 plays out. Should be much easier to read the data.

    It's less Tacoma and more mod
    It would be a much better gauge if it used a full size round LCD like a smart watch does and let you have control over the designs.
