Just bought an '09 DR650 with 4k miles for $1,200. Wasn't running, but teaching my 18 YO how to tear it down and put it back together. Got it running last night. Suspension next.

Used market on motos, cars, and trucks is crazy right now.

 

That is awesome, that DR is a great bike.
I am hoping to do something similar with my son when he is older.

Anyone need a oem 1st gen 3.4L passenger side valve cover? Cracked my drivers side and replaced them both.

 

Anyone have a hood prop for a 3rd gen they want to get rid of?

 

Looking for front coil overs and uppers for a 3rd gen. Could also be interested in rear leafs as well depending what ya got.

 

I still have some 3rd gen leafs with if you want them they are yours.

Looking for someone with a Clean Gen. 2 w/ a Cleaner engine bay as the truck will most likely have photos taken for promotional purposes. The fewer mods the better but not necessary.
The engine needs to be a 2TR-FE / 2.7L that will pass a Leak Down Test and has a manual transmission. You must be able to lose possession for few weeks and willing to pay shop cost for mods that will put you over 200 WHP. You will be required to run premium fuel afterwards and give feedback afterwards. Anyone interested please DM/PM me for further information.
Highly prefer someone who is detail oriented!!
