Sometimes the banana pudding mixes add a very artificial taste, when we do Banana Pudding I tend to make vanilla pudding for it.

Yes, it had ripe bananas in also. They prob could have waited a day or two but they still had the banana flavor.

I know you asked someone else but I just use pam spray on my banana bread.

A few other baked goods will call for SPS (spray parchment spray).

I use Crisco or butter it makes a nice crispy outer layer of the crust. Which we like. It may not be for everyone.

I'm into butter for greasing. I think I'll go that route tomorrow!

+1 on the Criso train, not the butter flavored though. Not that I'm against it, just that we use the blue tub for a lot + seasoning cast irons, so it's a staple in the kitchen.

^^ I use that recipe for focaccia and loafs, but with these quantities instead, using bread flour (walmart will do, I have KA right now because I bought a 10lb bag for the holidays since I was doing a ton):

    upload_2024-1-15_8-12-40.png
(The table goes out wider for other size pans, I may make it in an 8" round cast iron, for example, which is about 40% the size of a 9x13 pan the recipe calls for. Plus the other pan sizes I popularly use, so I have the math done out so I can look at it easily when I make one).

Wife has been making homemade bread, pizza crust, pie crust and more for over 30 years now. Check this out. Her garlic infused pizza crust and this loaf for dinner is truly amazing. Enjoy my friends.
