Everyone see the headline? I used to eat there regularly. Funny there was no drama when we parked the cars outside.

It’s Oakland, it’s a crime ridden sewer. I know Oakland, I was born and raised there. I still know a couple people who live there. Dont plan to ever set foot there again.

Hurts my soul a bit being actually being an Oakland native. I'd like to commune one last 3x3, fry well and a tuxedo shake but..........nope. Been to my fair share of meetups there over the years it's really quite fucking sad. The territory is too feral out there these days.

My only real regret about changing employers a few years back is that I went from having an office in Campbell to having an office in downtown Oakland. It's an absolute shithole.

Former Bay Area resident here. I’m sad to see it go but I’m not surprised.

Oakland is frightening. In N Out is pretty good, maybe slightly overhyped, but still good.

Another former Bay Area resident here. I'll never go back and I'll never send one my employees there either.

Oakland has had it's troubles and was (seemingly) clawing its way back. Lots of new new then, all of a sudden it changed--which is too bad. But yeah, things have changed for the worse.

Oakland is the worst its been since I have been alive. I try my best now to stay away. I turned down a job interview in Oakland. In and Out isn't the first to close and it won't be the last. There are other locations around the Bay.

And as I was typing this...heard Denny's Oakland after 54 years is closing.

My office is literally a mile from it. It's really sad. They also recently closed down a starbucks in the same shopping center.

    I’ll say it…

In N Out is not that good

But it does suck that a good business has to choose this option because of outside forces.

In N Out is definitely overrated. It's not a bad burger, but it's also not a great burger.

I just want more Del Tacos in the Bay Area, for when I'm craving some fast food Tex-Mex.

Talk about shitty food, Del Taco is definitely it. We have so many good lunch trucks in the Bay Area that are 10x better and don't make you have to trust a fart.

Is this the one by the airport outside of the closed Walmart?

I was in the drive thru there about 10 months ago in broad daylight and saw two cars with their windows smashed. One of the owners was at their car on the phone. This was around 11 am or noon.

    Just such a sketchy area
