Toyota could have made the screen bigger but that darn rear view mirror is in the way.

I really can't get over how expensive these new trucks are...it's insane to me.

What’s crazy is for $1,000-3,000 more you can get into a Premium package Sport or OR (or even a base Limited). Dealer I purchased my truck from has a Sport with premium package and only mud guards as PIO. MSRP $52,705.

Not sure what Toyota is thinking with the interior textiles, lower trims are a little better, but then it has that goofy diamond plate pattern. The Softex looks a little better, still odd though.

Dunno, like the chassis and mechanical, body looks like ass, the interior looks like ass…at least it gets stellar gas mileage, oh wait!

Yup! That why I have an iPad pro and not the iPad mini! There is a smaller screen model! Each to their own!

the design of the body and interior were way over done. toyota has lost its way imo, especially with the tacoma - simple, affordable, and reliable.

the value of the 3rd gen should remain high.

Looks like some designer fashion, why would anyone buying a pick up truck want designer fashions on their seats?

It reminds me of the 10th gen Honda civic hatchback. Where they tried too much and it looked like a kids race car.

New designs bring out fans and detractors. In all honesty, until I see one in person and sit in it and drive it it is just a reservation. The deposit I put down is refundable, it is just to give me the first opportunity to buy it. I am an early adopter. To me, the 3rd gen looks fine outside but the interior is so dated and low tech it has not kept up with competitors. From pictures and videos I have seen, the 2024 checks so many more boxes for me. The exterior, interior, new tech & not to mention mechanically, I am looking forward to driving it!

I bought my 2023 because of the value, which will be passed to my son, and I will trade his 2019 SR5 4WD which has held its value like a champ!

The reliability is an unknown although unlike the jab, I'll take a leap of faith with toyota. The consequences aren't as serious.

Love the 3rd Gen interior, it harkens back to the early 80s trucks. The 4G looks like is trying too hard to look tough.

How much tech do you need? Have most of the safety horseshit turned off in mine. Too fucking nannying.

People could learn to be better drivers, so we wouldn’t need all that bullshit, but guess that is too hard.

Mechanically it looks great, they could have worked on better fuel economy though, people rather brag about power though. Styling, bit over the top, seems like it is a pissing contest of who can build the ugliest truck these days.
