The dismount was a solid 7/10, I was doing 3 mph trying to climb the four foot vertical embankment to the road. Ended up spinning the track in the whopping three inches of snow, and slid to the side. Once it started going I wasn't getting under it to stop it and just hopped off to the side.

Only damage was to my pride, and a pair of hedge shears that had been in the rear rack/box. They wedged into the ground and stopped the sled from rolling onto the saw you see in the background. Bent the crap out of those, but I'll happily give up $10 shears to save the sled bodywork and chainsaw.

 

I thought you were getting rid of them for free for scrap.

We're quickly approaching the 3000 page milestone.

 

Much like I nailed the dismount. We did some decent mountain sledding breaking trail today once we cut all the blowdowns away. I was definitely able to lean the right way then... I blame it on the end of the day trying to get home

 

Just get @Delta09 in here and turn off the filter... we'll BS it up there in no time.

 

He mostly joins in where there's talk of pipe.

 

I’ve come so close to doing the same thing it’s not funny. Just bustin ya.

Oh I don't mind, one of us in the club does it every year, this year was my turn. At least my sled is only 400-500 lbs. Last year one of the other members laid his 800lb machine over in three feet of snow. That sucked to get upright again.
