Because a 911 Turbo is just a 911 with more power and a Turbo badge (spoiler alert, all 911s are turbo now).

If 2024 follows the previous Gen then the Pro will be more flashy. The current Pro has stamped bed-sides, extra badges on the doors, a scoop on the hood, and l believe the headrest on the seats are even marked too.

Lol! Mine is fairly mechanical, she grew up on a farm. Think she has more tools than I do. Our garage is full of antique printing equipment. That shit will kill you if you aren’t paying attention. She has an 800 lbs paper shear nicked named “Thumbs” you can guess how that thing got its’ name.

She probably wouldn’t be caught dead at a Porsche dealership either, she hates cars about as much as I do. She does love aircooled VWs though, she had a few over the years, and knows how to work on them too.

iForce Max engine, $4k Fox suspension, different front bumper, different rear bumper, larger wheels and tires, TRD intake and exhaust, Rigid fog lights, reinforced rocker protection, Iso seats, 2400W AC power, and air compressor. I would say you are getting more than a scoop and badges.

    The scoop is functional.

So a giant plastic badge on the hood, shiny black overfenders, giant TRD PRO stamped in the middle of the tailgate and bright red rear hooks is some how less flashy?...

We get it. You love the Pro even though you haven’t seen one yet in person let alone sat in or driven one. Now lets stop comparing it to Porsches.

it isn’t like on some HiLux’s where the intercooler is on top of the engine.

The pics/prototypes are out, the fenders are not stamped, the tail gate is. The '24 Pro has less markings than the other Tacomas. No Tacoma/Limited/Trail Hunter on the sides, no TRD Off Road 4x4 or TRD Sport on the sides. Other than the tail gate that says TRD Pro vs Tacoma (without any contrasting color), it says TRD Pro in one inch letters on the top of the hood. Unless you were in a vehicle at least as high as the Pro, you probably wouldn't see it if it was next to you. Nor would you see the Pro on the seats with people sitting in them. The TRD Sport and Pre Runner have the scoop too, so it's not an exclusive feature.

Great. I hope they also own Porsches that they can compare the truck to. :D

There’s a 4’ long “TRD PRO” stamped in the tailgate. LOL

    Not exactly subtle.

I would be cool with a tray back that says TOYOTA, so I can peel some letters off to spell YO. :)

All Tacomas have something stamped on the tail gate, it's kind of an industry standard.

And from every other angle, the "Pro" badge really jumps out at you.
