I can easily understand refs missing or making bad calls. People are human sure. But it's just as easy to understand that one missed call which changes the game can be done intentionally under the guise of the very reason given above. It would take so little to affect the game in a very imperceptible manner. They're also analytics whores so they know what affects the games.

Sure, I'm an unhappy fan right now, but something also doesn't sit right with me that the number 1 rushing offense who has essentially destroyed teams all year, decided the best game plan against the worst rushing defense was not to run all night. In the rain. I suppose you could say the offensive coordinator was being stupid, but the guy did win college title last year. I don't know. Defies logic to me.
