Those Sports have the 20” dubs too (and softer suspension if the salesman was accurate). I was shopping new initially and they had a 2020 TRD Sport VooDoo Blue on the lot but couldnt get past the rims on it

If you like everything else, get it. There are tons of people that would do a hood swap, probably plus toss in some cash for you, in order to get the scoop. Army Green was a popular color, too. You'd have no trouble.

I thought the Sport Suspension is stiffer than the OR?

I'm mostly looking at SR5's. Some are also the OR version. But a straight SR5 will do. I could have the shocks upgraded.

I need an extended cab with 6.5' bed. IRS considers that a work truck. Crew cab with 5.5 bed is classified as recreational.

 

I'll keep an eye out around here. If it's like within 70 miles of here I can check it out in person. Rust isn't as bad around here.

Not ruling out the mid-Atlantic area at all. I'm covering all my bases. The used car sales manager at my local dealership is going to start looking at out of state auctions in April. I'm sure they'll charge a lot for shipping, fees, etc. That would be Toyota Certified Used. But worth exploring.

I've got a parts guy there that can print the vehicle info for me from any VIN.

I'm finding about a $2-3K price difference between the northeast and down south/Texas. I just think there are more of them down there. If can spend a few hundred for travel to save thousands, I'm down for that.
