Not to totally get off topic from the "what have you done..." thread but:
Leaving Phoenix Sky Harbor one time from the East Economy lot there was a hold up at the arm that lets one car out at a time. Eventually a crew came out to manually start opening the gates for us. They were nice and apologized for the inconvenience. Turns out, one explained, it was the system that the PD uses to scan tags. You drive up, insert your paid ticket into the machine, it reads your tag, and when it positively ID's you, it raises the arm to let you go.

I was shocked! I asked why they did that and she explained that if you were on a list, a team would be ready to interdict you as you left the airport.

So now I always Uber in. Price is about the same and they don't need to know.

Performance is good. If you dont want to spend over $1000 for a complete replacement then this is an economical way to go to enhance the OEM HU. The tech that I communicated with for firmware updates has a Tacoma with JBL.

All it took for me was having my dedicated GPS head unit take me to a non existent Wal-Mart and down several non existent routes. Unit was only a year old at the time.
I've had other small dedicated Garmin type separate units but they ended up being as big of a PITA so stuck with GPS head units......until I had to continually update it, which was even a bigger PITA.

Honestly I thought I'd hate Google maps. But in reality hooking it up through the Tacomas head unit and using it that way has legitimately been a better solution to our overlanding needs than either of the above; no updating, no need for anything separate, and even when you have 0 cell signal it still continues with your previous/current route. The only thing you can't do is stop the current route if you have no coverage, which is why the WeBoost interests me.

Finally had a dry day, so installed my Form taillights and Mountain Hatch tailgate cover. Didn’t take long to do both, the hardest part was trying to unhook the reverse light plug on the stock taillights. What a PITA! Seems others have had trouble so I don’t feel to bad. The Mountain Hatch came with 4 washer/bolts which I guess are for the ends or the bottom but the stock torx screws worked just fine. Really like how they both turned out.

If you know where the bolts go I would appreciate it.

My initial thought was "no way, looks like a replacement hood". But, after coming back, I think it may work. If it were mine, I'd wrap matching truck color, and do matte black for the scoop only. Your truck, you're going to have to decide.

Way back in my past when I lived in the mountains and had my '82, we'd go "play" in the snow, it was common place to see our trucks covered completely in "crud", so it seemed logical to think his truck looked the same. Oh well, early morning can play tricks on my eyes!:rofl:

Thank you! I absolutely love how it came out. Been waiting years for my tires to wear so I could upgrade. I should’ve just done it earlier :D
