Shop Time w/T.W. Friends

Sitting at my desk at the garage shuffling papers, time to start organizing the tax stuff...

 

I have napped in this desk chair too.

 

We had some Baja Design Squadron Sports lying around (might swap for XL80s?) and installed them with SDHQ brackets. Spent the time to make sure it was clean. Great thing on the Raptor, and I believe the new 4th Gen Tacoma will have available on some trims, are the ready to go upfitter switches that you can easily connect into. Makes it soo much cleaner, though I wouldn't mind a sasquatch light switch in there lol.

 

Apparently a journey of 1,000 miles starts with one step. I still have 2,000 miles to go.

 

Since my company makes ice cream and I may or my not have napped here.....

After the pleasant surprise of not having to shovel downtown I headed for home, 800 feet higher up than town.



Attractive yes, still a pain in my @$$ to deal with.



This is looking up my little dead end road, a fairly steep climb after a 90 degree turn.



We only have 3 seasons here:
Snow
Mud
Dust

 

We will add "window tint installer" to the list of vocations that I will never do.

I happened to drive past a tint shop today and had a fairly brilliant idea.

I got a piece of tint about the size of an envelope, it was just a scrap and the young fellow wasn't going to charge me - I gave him a couple bucks & told him I appreciated his time, get a soda on me.

We have a clock in the bedroom that is ridiculously bright even on the lowest setting, the tint cured that -- what a pain to get the clear layer off though...

The young fellow showed me in seconds - I messed with it for 10 minutes.
