Yep exactly. Also got vacuum nipples for the tb itself.

 

So the TB is an aid in lowering coolant temps? I thought it was the other way around. Just assumed and now look at me.

 

It is for heating the TB in cold climates. To keep it from freezing up or binding due to cold weather.

edit: I sure there is more than just that, but that is what I know off the top of my head.

 

What exactly does this help with?

 

Potentially reducing some heat in the intake track that can heat the intake air. How much, I don't know.
I'm glad I did not have to mess with those two hoses the last 6+ time i have had the intake or TB off.

 

I believe there was already a thread on it and intake temps really didn't change that much with how fast the air is flowing through the tb. I wanted to just clean up the area and most of my hoses werent looking too hot anyway.

 

Thought you guys might like to see the 2024 Tacoma "Prototype" displayed at last week's Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale...







Not sure what made it a "prototype," but that's how it was labeled and that's why they told me it was locked. Better looking than a Turd Gen. Happy to see continued availability of a 6MT, but disappointed that all engines are only 4-cylinders.

Hell yeah buddy! Yeah I just got the dual exhaust in November, the guy was like was that transfer case there before??!

 

Did you have a custom driveshaft made? On my truck I had to make bracket to properly bolt center bearing onto crossmember. I have a double cab short bed

 

The video I saw said the 6mt wouldn’t be a hybrid combo……

 

And didn't even say hi or anything while you were out here... Damn. Lol would have met up for a Beer!

 

I had my original drive shaft shortened and worked on. They did a really good job. Put the slip yoke in the middle and change the end to flange. I have an access cab long bed which is the exact same length drive shaft for a double cab short bed.

Not quite yet……..but I love what the new pro looks like……a lot. I wanna see one in person as well with a slight lift and a nice set of wheels.
