I see them now and again. I just love that there was a period in time where stuff like this was made. They should relaunch it, show that Santa Cruz that Hyundai makes how its done.

 

I helped do an STI swap on my buddy's ~06 Forester last October. He's selling it now along with his wife's 05 LL Bean Forester in a similar color scheme to that Outback.

 

Really dig those early Foresters too. Wouldn't mod one, but I get why people do it. STI swap must've been fun.

Speaking of not having cash on hand for stuff….

Just had the interview for the planning job and it went pretty well! I’m trying to not get my hopes up too much though.

I’m feeling good about it, but I’ve been disappointed before. I even put down my expected pay as the lowest on their range to possibly improve my chances - 20.50 an hour iirc. It might not be FU money, but I’m not trying to be Mansa Musa anyway.

 

Ah who am I kidding, I'm not about to plan anything. I am hoping for a followup this week or next about a job though.

I don't mind it, but I would love to drop the commute, state taxes, and pick up more hourly pay. Unfortunately I've maxed out where I am now so if I don't pivot and find something else I will fall behind inflation again and essentially my pay will shrink compared to COL.
