My initial thought was "no way, looks like a replacement hood". But, after coming back, I think it may work. If it were mine, I'd wrap matching truck color, and do matte black for the scoop only. Your truck, you're going to have to decide.

Way back in my past when I lived in the mountains and had my '82, we'd go "play" in the snow, it was common place to see our trucks covered completely in "crud", so it seemed logical to think his truck looked the same. Oh well, early morning can play tricks on my eyes!:rofl:

Thank you! I absolutely love how it came out. Been waiting years for my tires to wear so I could upgrade. I should’ve just done it earlier :D

Swapped out some Factory Steel take offs that had only 9k on them and seem to be perfectly balanced.... Yea the TPMS light is on but only sometimes and swapping the sensors out is a pain, plus it still passes NY Inspection.

I'll swap the old ones in spring when there's no more snow possible. Had the NY State inspection done at an actul HONEST shop. Those are few and far between........

Oh and washed her also since the temp was above freezing.... gotta wash all that salt and $#!t off when you can here in the fn frozen tundra.....

    Question;
If you had $1,000 to spend on a plug and play replacement head unit, what would you recommend?
    - GPS
    - plays CDs
    - current system is not JBL
    - I have a speaker upgrade already (kickers in the doors, DS 18s in the dash)
    - and I have the sub behind the back seat and an amp under the driver seat.
    - 2019 sport dc
    Thanks in advance.

Well, about a month ago I noticed some moisture in the top of the lens, but it has since dried up. But other than that, no issues. Some compliments, but that’s to be expected. Good choice, in my opinion.

On the weekend I stepped on the shoulders of some giants on the forum to make a low cost alternative for a shovel mount in the box.
Using two parts (t-slot nut & quick grip) from Amazon, 3 trips to the hardware store and drilling into a bracket to fit the bolts, it's functional! I'll replace the bracket when I meet a friendly metalworker but it does the job.

Got Martin off-road camper rack installed and promptly got it properly muddy while checking out Panoche Hills, CA for first time. Topo topper was excellent and never shifted once. Loving the setup

Thanks to @crashnburn80 research, I upgraded my headlights and fogs. Went with the OEM Toyota LED headlights and Rigid 360-Series Pro SAE fogs. I also installed the VW floormat securing fasteners on my passenger side floormat. That’s been bugging me since I purchased the truck. I’ve been on a roll this week updated the multimedia software and the navigation database. Almost like a new truck again!

I did the same setup and like the Cali Raised dual bar. I also used the dual function switch from them. The light is really intense so I’m planning on doing a matte black hood stamp to cut down on the glare at night, it can be almost blinding! I had to notch a little more out on each side to fit the light bar.
