Question.. has anyone had Costco install this size on their 3rd gen? A friend of mine says Costco won't install anything that's not O.E. I think it's BS.

I've read that a LOT of people said they will not go more than one size up. I've also read that some have. It probably depends on the individual store and if they had a bad day.

Nice tires , I’m waiting on the FSW wheels to be back in stock and debating your tires vs the Michelin equivalent in that same size

I priced the two tires before my purchase. Michelin LTX A/T 2 will cost a bit more, but you will get more mileage. I have had good experiences with Continental on past vehicles. I'm happy with these.

Sup everyone. I just ordered a set of Method 703s (17x8.5 +0) and Toyo AT3 265/70r17 for my 2022 SR. Upgrading from my steelies. I already removed my front air dam. I don't have mudflaps. I read through this entire thread. From what I gathered, stock mudflaps = rub, no mudflaps = no rub. You also might rub at full lockout when hitting a bump. TRD Off-Roads seem to be fine or maybe slight mudflap trim, but I think they come with a higher suspension lift from the factory, if I'm not mistaken.

It's looking like I should be okay, maybe a slight rub of the inner fender liner under load at full turn from the sounds of it. Not a huge concern, if anything I'll have to use a hairdryer to it lol. Should really look good. I got them in matte black.

Can I reuse my steelies tpms sensors? I heard you have to roate them or something?

I will say you can't reuse your TPMS. Some people have had luck with rotating them and others have not. I didn't bother and just bought new ones. Cost wise it was only slightly more as I didn't have to have the shop remove them from the oem wheels and tires

You could do the pvc pipe trick if you didn't want to mess with that and use standard valves as opposed to buying all new ones.

What's that? lol - I'll probably just pay for new ones, worst case.

Some guys get a pvc pipe, cap one end, with a threaded cap on the other and put a tire valve in the cap. You stick all the valves in the tube and pressurize it to 30-34(whatever psi you want) and zip tie it somewhere under the truck.

Hahaha. That's redneck engineering if I've ever heard of it. I'll probably just pay the $150 for new TPMS sensors if need be lol
